New thesis proposals:
In collaboration with the Animal Biology Department
Automatic Call Recognition and Individual Identification of Fish Vocalizations
Improvement of work developed in
"Desenvolvimento de métodos para detecção e classificação automáticas de sons do xarroco (Halobatrachus didactylus)", in the scope of project PTDC/MAR/118767/2010.

New Movie Player
The project has already a new film player that enriches
cinematographic experience and boost film-viewer interaction.
A multilingual subtitle time alignment algorithm provides
natural browsing links between film and the corresponding
making-of. Results are presented for a set of known English
spoken films, also using the corresponding Portuguese and
Spanish subtitles.
