Dependable Perception in Wireless Sensor Networks

Abstract

In this paper we present an analysis of perception dependability in wireless sensor networks. We put forward a model of perception and present the necessary definitions to understand and ascertain perception quality and dependability. We also present some directions for future work aiming at providing middleware support for perception dependability, using this perception model.
