Dear participant,

You were invited to test the application NOA (Narrative Osteoarthritis Approach). The propose of the application is to support education for caregivers and people with Osteoarthritis (OA), which is one of the most prevalent chronic rheumatic diseases. The application uses a virtual character called NOA and resorts to a narrative and a quiz, with the double purpose of maintaining user engagement and enhancing his/her experience. This application is being developed by a multidisciplinary team.

To ensure the usefullness of this app and to be able to improve it according to its educational purposes, we have designed a survey to collect your feedback about NOA.

It will take you around 10 minutes to complete the survey. Your participation is entirely voluntary, and you can stop taking part at any time by closing the survey. However, once you have completed the survey and submitted your answers, you will be unable to remove your anonymized information.

We believe there are no known risks associated with this participation; however, as with any online-related activity, the risk of a breach cannot be 100% excluded. Therefore, your answers are anonymous and will be treated confidentially. The information you provide will only be used for the purpose of developing this application, and will be published in reports and other publications with the overall results of the test. Information that you provide through the survey will be securely stored according to regulations for three months before they are permanently destroyed. No-one besides the research team will have access to the individual information that you provide.
