ISOLA

This game is played on a 6x8 square board, with the following setup:

TURNS - At each turn, each player move his King to an (orthogonal or diagonal) adjacent empty cell.
After the move, the player must also remove one empty cell from play.
GOAL - The last player to move wins the game.

An example

Black's move. He should not move to cell [1] since White can then block at d3 and gain one tempo. He moves to e4 and block at b5. White's move is a4-a5 [block at d3], then e4-d4 [a6], a5-b6 [e3], d4-e4 [a5] and White cannot move and looses!

There is a ZRF to play Isola with Zillions. It seems that this game was produced by Lakeside and called (renamed?) Isolation. Check a similar but more elaborate game, Chase II. Another variant is Karaman.
